Thursday August 4th

My weigh in was still progress this morning. It was 232.4 lbs. And this time I was fully dressed (shoes excluded). Normally I am still in pajamas which weigh a tad less than my jeans and wet hair. But I'm not sure how I am still dropping little bits of weight. Yesterday, instead of working out, I had a pedicure and facial appointment at the spa. Because the little ones can only be in the child care for 2 hours, I had to pick them up the moment I was done. Then we ate Wendy's for lunch. Granted, I had an apple walnut salad --- SO GOOD--- and a root beer. I'm still not sure it was the best choice. Then I gorged on homemade stuffed peppers for dinner sans rice. Not for the low carb option, but because I didn't have the right kind of rice to put in them. They were yummy nonetheless.

So, I'm still making slow but sure progress. At this rate, I hope to be down to 200 lbs by the end of the summer. I know that's kind of a lofty goal, but I think I can do it. I have a hair appt at the gym salon, but it should only take about an hour so I can still work out for 45 minutes to an hour afterwards. I'm still trying to make better eating choices. And finally, I am staying positive. This weight didn't just jump on my body overnight and it's had a lot of time to settle in and make it's home here. So, I'm not expecting any miracles.

We'll see how today went with tomorrow's weigh in!
