Daily update: Tuesday 8/2/11

So I forgot to put my morning weight on here for Sunday. I weighed in at 237.6 lbs and I was feeling particularly big that day. I think I was holding onto some water weight or just not feeling so great.

This morning my weight is 234.6 lbs. A whole 3-lb difference. Now, I'm not especially excited about that since my weight can fluctuate up to 15 lbs every two days or so. But it is nice to see that when you wake up. I went to the gym yesterday. It was so much fun.

I started out on the elliptical machine. I was going to just do cardio, but about 20 minutes in, my feet actually started hurting. I don't know if it was how I was using the machine, my shoes or just sore feet. But whatever the reason, I stopped after 25-30 minutes (including cool down) and went to the machines. Since my legs were already warmed up, I decided to do lower body exercises. I did the leg press and impressed myself with how much weight I could push. I did the 2 really embarrassing thigh machines. You know, the ones where you close and open your legs really wide. I love how they put these machines right next to the water fountain that borders the free weight section. Translation: the water fountain that all the guys go to in between their sets. Probably the most used one in the entire gym.

But anyway. After working out on the machines, I went down into the steam room. My favorite part of the gym- hands down! Then as soon as I got out of a really cold shower, the child care paged me to come get my chitlins. Apparently Dominic had destroyed his diaper. They always get you when you're standing butt-naked and dripping wet. Oh well. Good day yesterday. We'll see how today goes!
